I specifically remember every disposable camera I had as a kid, and being amazed with the first digital point and shoot my dad had back in 2003. In 2010, I received my first DSLR, and I have been learning ever since! In 2013, I attended Washington State University. I earned my Bachelor’s in Digital Technology and Culture, and a minor in Art.
While I have a great interest in anything having to do with photography, I specialize in pet photography, and photo manipulation. Processing and editing those pictures play an important role in the process. If something was out of place when I took a picture, that was beyond my control, nobody has to know. Likewise, a leash on your pet is very important for their safety; although nobody wants to see that in their image. Since their safety is a priority, that’s where Photoshop comes in, so I can remove the leashes in post. The best images are when nobody can know that it was altered in any way. I do more than just the “fixes.” Creating montages, removing a person from the front of a group of people, and restoring old photos are a few examples.
I love any new challenge, enabling me to expand and enhance my capabilities. I’d love the opportunity to help you make some memories that last!
